The String Bead specializes in Miyuki seed Beads.  We carry sizes 3,5,6,8,11,15, and Delicas.  Along with the seed beads we carry Miyuki triangle beads in sizes 5, 8, 10, and 11. Cubes beads in sizes 4mm and 3mm along with the drop beads completes the Miyuki products we carry.

We have just completed adding over 150 new colors to our size 11 Miyuki seed beads already in stock. We also are getting more of these tubed into smaller quantities for those who don't need 28 grams. The new colors seriously concentrate in the pinks, purples and blues. It looks like spring has exploded in that seed bead section!

To help you with ideas and instruction we carry over 170 titles. We also carry the current and back issues of "Bead and Button", "Beadwork", "Wire Artist", "Expression", "Belle Armoire", "Quilting Arts", and "Dolls".

For the hemp crowd, there is a variety of color and sizes, as well as a large selection of wood, horn, metal, and bone to compliment the item being made. We do have some of these items also in strands.

Czech glass is another area where we are increasing the inventory almost weekly. Lots of new and colorful firepolish have just arrived on the market  and we were able to source many of them for the store. We have different sizes of firepolish available in trays and stranded. We recently have gotten into the 3mm firepolish which is gaining in popularity. Spring and summer takes our thoughts to flowers (and leaves), so we are trying to keep up with the demand. Everytime I get an order in, I think it will at least last for a month, but these beads move very quickly. We keep ordering larger quantities, but in some colors that isn't even satisfactory. The pale shades of pink, blue, yellow and green are the colors most sought after. The Czech glass is sold by the individual bead, strands and packages.

We  carry many semi-precious stones. They range in size from 4mm up to large "chunks". There are also different shapes of beads in category. 

We carry findings in sterling silver, bali, 14k gold, pewter and base metal. We have about 100 different styles of clasps in the precious metal and over 130 different styles in the base metal and pewter. You will also find a large variety of other items in this area, such as earrings, eyeglass holders, headpins, eyepins, in various lengths and diameters.

Right now the Miyuki drop beads are very popular due to the class we hold in making grape cluster wine i.d. rings.  They are easy to make, make up fast and we have a large array of colors to choose from.

For stringing projects we carry different sizes of Nymo, Beadsmith, Silamide, Pro Power, silk, waxed linen, waxed cotton, and leather. For those that are interested in textures, we do carry an array of ribbon and yarn to compliment your needs.

We have lots of pewter charms and also carry the top-of-the-line pewter findings in spacers, earrings and clasps.
